In the heart of Tasmania's World
Heritage wilderness area is a
pristine and spectacular waterway.
Bathurst Harbour, virtually
land-locked, seems quiet and serene,
albeit with a dark and mysterious
spirit. Port Davey has a far more
wild and unpredictable temperament.
Those without much paddling or
outdoors experience can wet their
appetite for adventure in this
awesome landscape on a 3-day
sheltered water paddling trip in
Bathurst Harbour. This trip is based
from a standing camp on the bank of
Melaleuca Inlet. This camp has
recently been upgraded with the
latest technology in environmentally
sensitive amenities.
For active outdoors people who
like to live life to the full the
7-day Port Davey sea kayaking
expedition will not disappoint. This
is a true sea kayaking adventure and
whilst you don't have to be a sea
kayak expert this expedition offers
plenty to challenge and satisfy the
most experienced paddler. Each
paddle stroke taken on this
expedition brings you closer to the
pulse of the Southern Ocean
wilderness. All trips are limited to
an intimate group size of 6,
accompanied by two experienced
guides. |
