Great Murray River Run Tour	SP7333A
5 days/4 nights - Wellington to Border Cliffs

The 5 day tour travels the entire length of the river in South Australia. The 560km upstream journey begins at Wellington on the edge of Lake Alexandrina and heads to Renmark, then north another 60kms to Border Cliffs near the border of Victoria. Of course, you can reverse this this 560kms journey and take it downstream instead! Wellington to Border Cliffs and Border Cliffs to Wellington.

Overnight bed and breakfast in riverland hotels. Renmark, Loxton, Waikerie and Mannum all have ensuite facilities.

Day 1: Depart Wellington pass the towns of Tailem Bend and Murray Bridge. Stopping for lunch at the historic town of Mannum, birth place of paddlesteamer history. Cruise past Bowhill, Walkers Flat stopping at Devon Downs for an Aboriginal tour. Coach transfer to Mannum for Dinner / Bed and Breakfast.

Day 2: Return by coach to the boat. Cruise past, Swan Reach, through Lock 1 at Blanchetown. Enjoy lunch at the historic Riverport of Morgan. Cruise past Cadell and Red Gum Forest. Past through Lock 2 stopping at Waikerie for Dinner / Bed and Breakfast.

Day 3: Depart Waikerie enjoy spectacular scenery before stopping for coach transfer to Banrock Station for morning tea and tour. Return by coach to the historic Overland Corner Hotel. Cruise by Kingston on the Murray, Moorook and Cobdogla. Stopping at Loxton Hotel for Dinner / Bed and Breakfast.

Day 4: Depart Loxton, cruising through Kamakazi Flats through Lock4 and stopping for lunch at Berri. Cruise by Lyrup through Lock 5, Paringa, and then stopping for Dinner / Bed and Breakfast at Remark Hotel.

Day 5: Depart Remark, cruising through spectacular Redgum Forest, Chowilla Station and through Lock 6. Stopping for a BBQ lunch on the banks of the river at the historic Customs House at the South Australian / Victorian Border. After lunch board the Coach for your return trip to Wellington.
