During this expedition we'll have special guest turtle scientist Dr Ian Bell onboard. Ian is a leading scientist studying Turtles in Australia.
Australia's spring is the best time to dive the outer walls of the northern reefs, offering a great chance of encounters with megafauna including Brydes Whales, Manta Rays, Whale Sharks & Tiger Sharks.

Day 1: 2:00pm Depart Cairns and enjoy a scenic flight to Lockhart RIver near the top of Australia, arriving at 3:45pm. Enjoy an interpretive 4WD trip through rainforest on the way to meet our vessel.

Day 2: Mantis Reef (clear water reef diving with the chance to see Brydes Whales)

Day 3:
Great Detached Reef (Oceanic reef with 1000m drop off)

Day 4:
Raine Island (Turtles and Tiger sharks)
 

Day 5:
Raine Island (Turtles and Tiger sharks)

Day 6: Island : Sea Turtles and Sea Birds

Day 7:
Island : Sea Turtles and Sea Birds

Day 8:
After disembarking the Undersea Explorer at Lockhart River, we will transfer passengers to Lockhart River Airport for their flight to Cairns at 4:45pm
