Day 1:
Melbourne Be
welcomed on arrival and transferred
to your hotel, with the rest of the
day free.
Day 2:
City Sights Tour, Little Penguin
Parade
Enjoy a morning sightseeing tour
of Melbourne. In the afternoon,
journey to Phillip Island, home to
the Little Penguins who emerge from
the surf and make their way to their
burrows.
Day 3:
Melbourne, Great Ocean Road
Travel along Victoria’s Great Ocean
Road with its unique scenery. Enter
Port Campbell National Park to view
the iconic Twelve Apostles.
Day 4:
Melbourne, Alice Springs
This morning, transfer to the
airport and fly to Alice Springs
(airfare not included). This
afternoon enjoy a town tour
including the Royal Flying Doctor
Service Base and the School of the
Air.
Day 5:
Kata Tjuta (Olgas), Sunset Drinks
Depart Alice Springs for Ayers Rock
Resort. At Kata Tjuta, walk into
Walpa (Olga) Gorge. Early in the
evening, enjoy a beverage and watch
the fading light bathe Uluru.
Day 6:
Uluru (Ayers Rock) Sunrise, Base
Tour, Mutitjulu Waterhole, Mala Walk
Rise early this morning to witness
Uluru at sunrise. Then join a guided
walk to Mutitjulu waterhole.
Alternatively, you can choose to
climb Uluru. Tonight you may like to
experience the Sounds of Silence
dinner (own expense).
Day 7:
Ayers Rock Resort, Tropical Cairns
This morning transfer to Ayers Rock
airport for your flight to Cairns
(airfare not included). Be welcomed
on arrival in this tropical city and
the afternoon is at your leisure.
Day 8:
Great Barrier Reef Full Day Cruise,
Buffet Lunch, Snorkelling
Enjoy a full day cruise to the Great
Barrier Reef. Take the opportunity
to swim and snorkel, or board the
semi-submersible for an underwater
adventure. Enjoy a buffet lunch of
hot and cold dishes, fresh seafood,
salads and tropical fruits.
Day 9:
Skyrail Cableway, Pamagirri Dancers,
Kuranda Scenic Railway
Join the Skyrail Cableway for
spectacular views over the
rainforest canopy. See a performance
by the Pamagirri Aboriginal Dancers
and visit the wildlife enclosure.
Perhaps have your photo taken with a
koala (own expense). Join the
Kuranda Scenic Railway as it travels
via Barron Falls to Cairns.
Day 10:
Cairns, Sydney
Transfer to Cairns Airport, fly to
Sydney (airfare not included). Be
met and transferred to your hotel,
with tonight free.
Day 11:
City Sights, Beaches and Lunch
Cruise
The morning is free to explore
Sydney. Join a luncheon cruise on
Sydney Harbour. After your cruise
take in the city sights including
the Opera House and Harbour Bridge.
Day 12:
Blue Mountains, Koalas
This morning tour the spectacular
Blue Mountains and perhaps ride
aboard the Skyway (own expense).
Day 13:
Sydney Morning at
leisure before being transferred to
the airport. |
