South Australia is an amazing place and home to
some of Australia's finest food, wine and wildlife! The
Clare Valley, Maclaren Vale and Barossa are all within a
couple of hours of Adelaide, South Australia's
gentle and rhythmic capital city or visit Broken Hill
(technically in NSW, but commercially and geographically
closer to South Australia). The unique wildlife
centre of Kangaroo only a short ferry ride or flight
offers a glimpse of Australian fauna and flora that have
grown up in their own protected environment.
Throughout this huge and diverse state, you will also
find many opportunities to meet with the aboriginal
people, and learn something of their ancient cultural
heritage. Or simply head to the beaches of the wild
southern coast enjoy the sea and watch (in season) for
the whales that thrive along the coastline here.
Whatever you seek, South Australia can probably offer
