Day 1:
Arrive Ayers Rock Resort
Be welcomed on arrival at Ayers Rock
Airport and transferred to Ayers
Rock Resort. The remainder of the
day is free for you to relax or
undertake optional activities.

Day 2:
Uluru Sunrise, Mala Walk, Kata Tjuta,
Sunset Drinks
Rise early and enjoy a complimentary
cup of tea or coffee while watching
Uluru at sunrise. Walk to Mutitjulu
waterhole. Continue to the base for
a guided tour along the Mala Walk.
See Aboriginal rock art and caves
and visit Kantju Gorge.
Alternatively, forgo the guided
walks to climb Uluru. This afternoon
travel to the 36 rocky domes of Kata
Tjuta. With a guide follow the dry
creek bed into Walpa (Olga) Gorge.
Late in the afternoon, return to
Uluru for sunset drinks and enjoy a
complimentary glass of wine. Tonight
you might like to enjoy the Uluru
Aussie Barbecue (additional cost ).
Day 3:
Kings Canyon, Watarrka Naitional
Park
There is time this morning to take
part in optional activities before
we depart Ayers Rock Resort. Travel
through desert landscapes to Kings
Canyon Resort in Watarrka National
Park.

Day
4: Kings Canyon,
Guided Walk, Alice Springs
This morning choose from two walks
through majestic Kings Canyon. Take
a guided walk around the rim of the
canyon, enjoying panoramic views of
the towering orange walls. This walk
will also take you through the
formation of the ‘Lost City’ and
down to the ‘Garden of Eden’
waterhole. Or, join an easier nature
walk deep into the canyon. This
afternoon, depart for Alice Springs,
stopping en route at Kings Creek
Station.

Day
5: West Macdonnell Ranges, Town Tour
Travel through the rugged mountain
ranges of West MacDonnell National
Park. Stop at magnificent Simpsons
Gap and the striking Angkerle (Standley
Chasm). Return to Alice Springs and
take a tour of this unique Outback
township. Visit the Royal Flying
Doctor Service Base and historic
Telegraph Station. Admire views from
atop Anzac Hill of the Todd River,
the MacDonnell Ranges, and the town
of Alice Springs. (L)
Day 6:
Alice
Springs, Darwin
Morning at leisure before
transferring to the airport (travel
from Alice Springs to Darwin is at
your own expense). Be welcomed at
Darwin Airport and transferred to
your hotel.

7: World Heritage Kakadu National
Park, Yellow Water Cruise,
Nourlangie Rock
There’s time this morning to join an
optional scenic flight over the
Arnhem Land Escarpment (own
expense). Travel into Kakadu
National Park and visit the
Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural
Centre. Join a guided cruise on the
wetlands of Yellow Water, keeping an
eye out for birdlife and wildlife.
After lunch visit Nourlangie Rock to
view galleries of Aboriginal art.
Stop at Window on the Wetlands for a
complimentary drink while admiring
the views over the floodplains. (L)
Day
8: Nitmiluk National Park, Katherine
Gorge Cruise, Leliyn (Edith Falls)
Travel through Adelaide River,
stopping at the War Memorial.
Continue to Pine Creek. Head into
Nitmiluk National Park for a cruise
on Katherine Gorge. As you glide
along the tranquil waters, your
guide will explain the significance
of the gorge for the local
Aboriginal people and detail the
flora and fauna found in this
region. Enjoy lunch at Nitmiluk
Visitor Centre before visiting
beautiful Leliyn. Enjoy time for a
refreshing swim (conditions
permitting) in the rock pool at the
foot of the falls. (L)
Day
9: Litchfield National Park,
Florence Falls, Tolmer Falls, Wangi
Falls
Tour into the picturesque Litchfield
National Park, a stunning region of
pristine Top End wilderness. Climb
the rocky Tabletop Range where dry
woodlands and forests dominate the
sandstone plateau. Stop to view
intriguing magnetic termite mounds
en route to the striking double
waterfall that forms Florence Falls.
Visit Tolmer Falls to see the water
tumbling over two high escarpments.
Continue to stunning Wangi Falls
where there’s time for a swim
(conditions permitting) or a nature
walk to the top of the falls. (L)

10: Darwin
Enjoy some free time to explore
tropical Darwin before transferring
to the airport. |
