An amazing place and home to some of Australia’s finest food, wine and wildlife! The Clare Valley, Maclaren Vale and Barossa are all within a couple of hours of Adelaide, South Australia’s gentle and rhythmic capital city. The unique wildlife centre of Kangaroo only a short ferry ride or flight offers a glimpse of Australian fauna and flora that have grown up in their own protected environment.

Head north and west and you will find yourself in Australia’s magnificent outback country. Dry, wide and red this landscape will enthral; whether you head into the Flinders Ranges, and on to Wilpena, head to Broken Hill (technically in NSW, but commercially and geographically closer to South Australia) or start crossing the Nullarbor to Perth, the outback’s unique atmosphere will enthral.

Throughout this huge and diverse state, you will also find many opportunities to meet with the aboriginal people, and learn something of their ancient cultural heritage.
